How Important Is A Presale Letter?

June 6th, 2009

If you’re an affiliate marketer and you send your leads directly to the sales page, you’re throwing away money. All the best afflilate marketers (all marketers, actually) say the money is in the list and if you’re not building your list you are throwing away all those opportunities to make more money.

If you write a presale letter you can get your potential customers warmed up to the sales page offer, collect their email details, and keep your options open for further sales.

A well written presales letter can get customers  curious about the offer and the product.

Once you have a potential customer’s details for your list you can contact them again about the offer. Not everyone buys the first time they see an offer, so you will be able to follow up and see if you can make the sale another time.
